Jakarta – Wakil Menteri Agama (Wamenag) Romo Muhammad Syafii ungkap telah mendapat arahan baru Presiden Prabowo Subianto terkait lulusan pendidikan madrasah di Indonesia. Prabowo menilai, lulusan madrasah harus memiliki keterampilan tambahan di luar kompetensi agama.
Dengan begitu, mereka nantinya bisa bersaing dengan sepadan di dunia kerja ketika menyelesaikan sekolah. Mendengar arahan ini, Kemenag menyebut akan menghadirkan Madrasah Vokasi.
“Anak-anak madrasah tidak hanya belajar agama tetapi juga belajar skill lain seperti di sekolah vokasi agar mereka bisa bersaing dan mendapatkan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan kompetensinya,” tutur Romo dikutip dari laman resmi Kemenag, Selasa (18/11/2025). https://cuan128.biz/
Permintaan Tenaga Kerja Luar Negeri Tinggi
Hadirnya konsep madrasah vokasi didasarkan pada meningkatnya permintaan tenaga kerja terampil di luar negeri. Salah satu negara tujuan yang membuka peluang besar bagi pekerja RI adalah Eropa.
Dijelaskan Romo Syafii, ada 27 negara Eropa yang mencari tenaga kerja terampil dari Indonesia. Setiap tahunnya, setiap negara membutuhkan 15 ribu tenaga kerja.
Untuk itu, lulusan madrasah dinilai harus ambil peran. Ia memberikan arahan langsung kepada Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk membuat perubahan terkait.
Menurutnya, saat ini pendidikan harus mulai fokus pada masa depan peserta didik agar mereka dapat fasilitas dan pilihan karier yang sesuai. Hal ini akan menjadi tantangan besar yang akan mulai dijawab dengan madrasah vokasi.
“Artinya kita menatap masa depan seperti apa nasib anak didik kita, kita tidak hanya sibuk dengan kekurangan pembiayaan, tapi kita juga harus sibuk bagaimana anak-anak ini ke depan betul-betul mendapat fasilitas yang mereka butuhkan untuk memilih bidang yang mereka pilih,” urainya.
Memang belum disebutkan kapan madrasah vokasi akan dibangun atau dibuka. Saat ini, Kemenag masih memperhatikan masalah kebutuhan tenaga pendidik atau guru di bidang vokasional.
Kehadiran madrasah vokasi nantinya juga akan menyebabkan penyesuaian di tingkat pendidikan tinggi keagamaan. Romo Syafii menilai perguruan tinggi seperti UIN dan IAIN juga perlu membuka program vokasi sebagai bagian dari transformasi ekosistem pendidikan Islam.
“Sekiranya harus punya itu dan ini nanti kan efeknya guru-guru vokasional perlu ada, UIN/IAIN perlu ada program vokasi,” jelasnya.
Menguatkan MA PK, MAN IC, dan MAK
Kehadiran madrasah vokasi nantinya akan memperkuat pengembangan pendidikan madrasah. Wamenag menyebutkan, ada tiga jenis madrasah yang memiliki fungsi berbeda-beda sesuai pengembangan kebutuhan peserta didik.
Ketiga jenis madrasah tersebut yakni:
1. Madrasah PK (Program Keagamaan): Berfungsi untuk mencetak ulama-ulama yang kompeten.
2. Madrasah Insan Cendekia (MAN IC): Madrasah untuk menghadirkan lulusan dengan akademik yang baik. Biasanya, mereka akan diarahkan untuk melanjutkan studi lebih tinggi di dalam dan luar negeri.
3. Madrasah Kejuruan (MAN Kejuruan): Peserta didik madrasah kejuruan akan ditempat menjadi tenaga siap kerja pascalulus dari sekolah.
